Vivo X90 global variant appears on Bluetooth SIG, hints at an imminent launch

Vivo X90 global variant has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. It is listed with model number V2218. The listing also suggests that the smartphone’s launch in the global markets may just be around the corner. The X90 may also be accompanied by the Pro and Pro+ variants. 

Vivo unveiled the X90 series comprising regular, Pro, and Pro+ models in China last month. The brand is yet to officially announce the smartphone’s global availability. However, we expect it to debut in the coming months.

Vivo X90 bags Bluetooth SIG certification

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo X90 carries a model number V2218 on Bluetooth SIG. The listing reveals that it will come with support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Apart from this, the certification website does not mention any additional details about the smartphone. 

The global variant of the Vivo X90 is expected to come with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. The latter comes with a 6.78-inch centre-aligned OLED display with curved edges. It offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. In terms of design, the Vivo X90 sports a circular protruding camera module and a horizontal metal bridge. 

On the imaging front, the Vivo X90 is equipped with Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony IMX866 main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto unit. Up front, it features a 32MP selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Vivo X90 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4,810mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging.
