Vivo X90 Pro+ leaked live images reveal design ahead of launch

Vivo X90 Pro+ has been spotted in an official-looking teaser image. Additionally, a live shot of the upcoming offering has also been shared by a Weibo user. The leaked images reveal the smartphone’s design. 

The Vivo X90 series comprises regular, Pro, and Pro+ variants and is expected to be unveiled soon in China. The devices will arrive as the successor to the X80 series that debuted last year.

Vivo X90 Pro+ live image reveals the design

The leaked image shows the Vivo X90 Pro+ in a leather Red colour back panel similar to the X Fold+. The top of the rear panel has a circular protruding camera module. Below it is a horizontal metal bridge with text revealing the camera co-engineered by Vivo and Zeiss. It is touted to offer Xtreme Imagination. Another live image of the smartphone shows four camera sensors, including a periscope lens housed in the module. 

Apart from this, the live images do not reveal any additional details of the Vivo X90 Pro+. The smartphone’s launch seems imminent. Tipster Ice Universe says that the X90 series could be released at the end of November and will be sold globally. 

As per past reports, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to come with a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display with curved edges bearing a 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. In the photography department, the upcoming offering is said to pack a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP IMX598 lens, a 50MP IMX578 unit, and a 64MP Omnivision periscope zoom shooter. 

The Vivo X90 Pro+ will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It is tipped to be backed by a 4,700mAh battery unit with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
