Vivo X90 and X90 Pro’s full specifications have surfaced. As it is known, these two devices, along with the X90 Pro+, are scheduled to launch on November 22nd, in China. The X90 and X90 Pro are said to debut as the world’s first phones featuring the Dimensity 9200 chipset. The X90 Pro+, on the other hand, could be the world’s first phone to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.
Our exclusive report from last month revealed that the Vivo phones with V2241A, V2242A, and V2227A model numbers that have been spotted at the 3C certification platform of China and Geekbench will debut as the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ in the home market. Ahead of the launch, the vanilla and Pro models have bagged certification from China’s TENAA telecom authority. The TENAA certification has revealed all the major specifications of both smartphones.
Vivo X90, X90 Pro specifications (rumoured)
The TENAA certification of the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro has revealed that both devices will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that will produce a 1.5K resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and 10-bit colours. It appears that both smartphones will support a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Both smartphones are powered by a 3.05GHz octa-core processor, which appears to be the Dimensity 9200 chipset. The duo will come in RAM variants like 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB. When it comes to storage, both phones are expected to come in choices like 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 overlaid on it will come preloaded on the Vivo X90 series. Both smartphones are backed by a dual-cell battery. The vanilla model is likely to house a 4,800mAh battery, whereas the Pro model could be equipped with a 4,900mAh battery. Both phones are expected to support 120W fast charging.
Moving to optics, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, the Vivo X90 will have a 50-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple camera unit, whereas the Pro model will come with a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple camera system. The Pro model may feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera. Both devices are expected to support 2x optical zoom.
The X90 measures 164.10 × 74.44 × 8.88mm and weighs 196 grams. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, has the dimensions of 164.07 × 74.53 × 9.34mm and weighs 214.85 grams. The X90 is expected to be available in black, blue, and red, while the Pro model may only be available in black and red.
