Vivo X90 series retail box images have been leaked well before its global launch. Our exclusive report revealed that the company’s next-generation X-series flagships would debut on February 3rd, 2023. It appears that the company will release an official confirmation on it in the next few days.
In November 2022, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ in China. Several reports have revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered X90 Pro+ will not release in markets outside China. Shown below are images of the retail box for the global version of the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro.

The retail box images of the X90 and X90 Pro shared by the tipster have a vegan leather kind of texture, with the name of the device mentioned at the centre along with “co-engineered with ZEISS” branding. The tipster has claimed that the pre-sale of the X90 series will begin on January 27th, 2023, before its global launch on February 3rd.
In terms of specs, both phones are likely to be identical to their Chinese counterparts. A recent report claimed that the vanilla and Pro models would cost MYR 3,699 (~Rs 69,800) and MYR 5,299 (~Rs 1,00,000) in the Malaysian market. Both models will come in a single configuration that offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The vanilla model will be available in Breeze, Blue, and Asteroid Black shades, while the Pro version may come only in Legendary Black.
Vivo X90, X90 Pro specifications
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a Dimensity 9200 chipset. Both devices have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The X90 has a 4,810mAh battery, while the Pro model has a 4,870mAh battery. The X90 duo supports 120W fast charging. However, the X90 Pro also supports 50W wireless charging. In the global market, both devices will come preloaded with FunTouch OS 13 (based on Android 13).
For selfies, both models have e a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The vanilla model’s rear shell features a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + a 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. The X90 Pro has a 50.3-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system. Both phones are equipped with the Vivo V2 ISP for enhanced photography in low-light conditions.
