Vivo Y02 has launched in Indonesia. It arrives as the successor to the Vivo Y01. The smartphone has appeared in leaked renders and live images recently. 

The Vivo Y02 is a budget offering. It is also positioned lower than the Y02s that debuted in August this year. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box.

Vivo Y02 specifications and features

On the front, the Vivo Y02 features a 6.51-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The device has a rectangular island housing a circular module with a camera sensor and LED flash unit.  

The Vivo Y02 comes with a single 8MP rear camera paired with an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper. 

Internally, the Vivo Y02 is equipped with an unspecified octa-core processor. However, leaks suggest Helio P22 SoC onboard. The device packs 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 12 Go-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the Vivo Y02 include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm jack. 

Vivo Y02 pricing and availability

The Vivo Y02 is priced at IDR 1,499,000 (~Rs 8,000). It is offered in Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue colours and is available for purchase in Indonesia.
