The upcoming Vivo Y12A smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications. As the name suggests, it will be yet another Y12 series phone from the brand, which already includes handsets like the Vivo Y12s 2021, Vivo Y12s, Vivo Y12i, and Vivo Y12.
Last month, a Vivo phone with model number V2102 was spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification. The listing confirmed that this device will launch in the country as the Vivo Y12A. Its appearance on Geekbench today suggests that its launch could be imminent.
Vivo Y12A listed on Geekbench
The Vivo Y12A’s Geekbench listing shows that it is powered by a Qualcomm chip that has four CPU cores clocked at 1.46GHz and another four CPU cores clocked at 1.96GHz. The source code of the listing reveals that this SoC is equipped with the Adreno 505 GPU. With this, we can infer that the Vivo Y12A will be driven by the Snapdragon 439.
The Geekbench listing further states that the phone has 3GB of RAM and it boots Android 11. In the single-core test of Geekbench, the device scored 171 points and it recorded a score of 830 points in the multi-core test.
Other specifications of the device are not know yet, however it appears to be similar to the Snapdragon 439-powered Vivo Y12s 2021 which launched in May.
Vivo Y12s 2021 specifications and features
The Vivo Y12s 2021 has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The Snapdragon 439-powered phone runs FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11. The SoC is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
For photography, it has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It comes with other features such a microSD card slot and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
