Vivo Y12G has quietly launched in India today. It is a rebranded Y12s variant that had gone official in Vietnam in May this year. The Indian variant comes with the same specifications. The smartphone is a budget offering and falls in the sub-Rs 11,000 price bracket.

The Vivo Y12G offers a 6.5-inch display bearing HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the top. The device flaunts a gradient back panel housing a vertically stacked rectangular camera module. It features a 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens while on the front, the device has an 8MP selfie snapper. 

Internally, the Vivo Y12G is equipped with a Snapdragon 439 processor. It is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The device supports a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion up to 256GB. The Vivo Y12G draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W fast charging. 

On the connectivity front, the Vivo Y12G features 4G, microUSB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The smartphone runs FunTouch 11 based on Android 11.

The Vivo Y12G is priced at Rs 10,999 for the sole 3GB + 32GB configuration. It is offered in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue colours and is available for purchase from the Vivo India website.
