As expected, Vivo has launched its latest Y series smartphone called the Vivo Y19 in the Indian market. The phone has arrived as a mid-range offering with a waterdrop notch above the screen and a triple primary camera setup at the rear. The Vivo Y19’s other highlight is a massive 5,000mAh battery under the hood, which flaunts 18W dual-engine fast charging support. The phone is claimed to have nine security standards for safe charging. The Vivo Y19 is the successor to the Vivo Y17 which is now expected to be discontinued in the country.

The Vivo Y19 offers a 6.53-inch Halo FullView display with full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor that offers a clock speed of 2.0GHz. Configuration-wise, the handset is being offered in a single variant that has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In the software department, you have Funtouch OS 9.2 onboard that’s based on Android 9 Pie. The device also has features like Smart Split, Jovi Smart Scene, and face access 2.0.

In the imaging department, the Vivo Y19 has a 16MP main camera at the rear with f/1.78 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP AI super wide-angle camera with 120-degree field of view and a 2MP super macro lens. On the front, the handset has a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture f/2.0. The phone also has other camera features like AI makeup, Pose Master, super wide-angle mode, live photo, HDR mode, and professional mode. In terms of connectivity, you have 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS with GLONASS.
