Vivo Y1s has received a new variant with more RAM. The smartphone was launched with 2GB RAM in November last year. The latest offering packs 3GB RAM and a conventional fingerprint scanner but retains the rest of the specs as the older model.
The Vivo Y1s is a budget device and comes with decent specifications. It falls under the Rs 10,000 price bracket and competes against the likes of Realme Narzo 30A, POCO M3 and more. Vivo has also hiked the prices of the Y1s 2GB and Y12s by Rs 500.
Vivo Y1s specifications and features
The Vivo Y1s offers a 6.21-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. It comes with a single 13MP rear camera. The device features a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies and face unlock. The smartphone is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that isn’t present on the 2GB variant. The Vivo Y1s also features a gradient back panel.
Internally, the Vivo Y1s is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It is paired with 3GB RAM and the device offers 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 4,030mAh battery unit. It runs on FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10. The device comes with dark mode support.

The Vivo Y1s is priced at Rs 9,490 and is offered in Aurora Blue and Olive Black colours. It is available for purchase starting today from Vivo India e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores.
