Vivo Y1s with Helio P35 and 4,030mAh battery launched: price, specifications

Vivo has been actively launching new phones in different markets across the world. Last month, the company unveiled the Vivo X50 (review) series in India. Earlier this month, the Vivo S7 5G selfie-focused smartphone debuted in China. Now, Vivo has quietly unveiled the Vivo Y1s smartphone in Cambodia.

The Vivo Y1s is an entry-level phone that features a big display and a large-sized battery. The polycarbonate rear panel features a gradient finish. Let us find out what specs are packed inside the new Vivo Y1s phone.

The Vivo Y15s is a new entry-level smartphone

The Vivo Y1s has a 6.22-inch Halo FullView display with a waterdrop notch. It features HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. The device is driven by the Helio P35 chipset. It comes in a single version featuring 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. A dedicated microSD card slot is available onboard for expanding the storage.

The phone runs Android 10 with the latest FunTouch OS 10.5 on top. It is fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery. It has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/1.8 aperture, and a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Vivo Y1s lacks a fingerprint reader, but supports face unlock. The usual connectivity options like dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, and 3.5mm audio jack are available on the Vivo Y1s.

Vivo Y1s pricing and availability

The Vivo Y1s has debuted in Cambodia with a price tag of $109 (~Rs 8,200). Buyers can choose from two colour variants such as Aurora Blue and Olive Black. There is no news on the phone’s availability outside of Cambodia.
