The Vivo Y20T moniker has been confirmed on the IMEI database, corresponding to the phone with model number V2129. Last August, Vivo announced the Vivo Y20 and Y20i in India. It unveiled the Vivo Y20A in December 2020, which was followed by the Y20G in January. The Y20 series also includes some other models such as Y20 (2021) and Y20s G available in other markets. Hence, the newly spotted Y20T is expected to arrive as the seventh Y20 branded phone from the company.
The Vivo Y20T has also been spotted on Geekbench with some of its key specs. The listing reveals that it will be a mid-range phone powered by a Snapdragon 6-series chipset.
Vivo Y20T key specifications revealed on Geekbench
The upcoming Vivo Y20T has appeared with model number V2129 on Geekbench. The smartphone is driven by a Qualcomm chipset with ‘Bengal’ codename. The source code of the listing reveals that it offers the highest clocking speeds of 2.02GHz. It also reveals the presence of the Adreno 610 GPU.
The ‘Bengal’ codename is associated with the Snapdragon 460 and Snapdragon 662 chipsets. It can be said based on the information found through its source code that the Vivo Y20T is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset. The Geekbench listing further mentions that the Snapdragon 662 SoC is accompanied by 6GB of RAM, and it runs Android 11. The other specifications of the Vivo Y20T are under wraps.
