Vivo unveiled the Y21 smartphone in August last year, and now the company is gearing up to launch its successor, the Vivo Y22. The smartphone has been in the headlines for a while. Earlier, it was spotted on the BIS certification website as well as the Geekbench database, which confirmed its moniker and revealed some key specifications.
Now, the team at Pricebaba has spotted the Vivo Y22 on the NBTC certification website with the V2207 model number. The listing on the Thai certification authority’s website doesn’t reveal any specifications of the upcoming smartphone, but it tells us that the Vivo Y22 will not have 5G connectivity.
Vivo Y22 expected specifications
The Vivo Y22 is expected to come with a 6.44-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It could also come with an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, it will most likely feature a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with Arm Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone will run on Android 12, based on FunTouch OS out of the box. Vivo Y22 is likely to be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
