Vivo just expanded its affordable line of ‘Y series’ smartphones with Vivo Y25. The phone is listed on the company’s Malaysia website. In terms of the design, it flaunts a plastic body with a removable back. Available in White and Grey colour options, the Vivo Y25 costs RM 499 that converts approximately at Rs 7,485. There are no words concerning the India launch, though.
The Vivo Y25 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Funtouch OS 2.1 on top. It is powered by MediaTek MTK6580 quad-core chip ticking at 1.3GHz and 1GB RAM. The internal memory of 16GB is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD.
It measures 130.7 mm in height, 66.4 mm in width and 9.2 mm in thickness, and packs 1900mAh battery. On the camera front, the Vivo Y25 houses a 5MP rear camera as well as a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. A number of camera modes and features include voice capture, palm capture, panorama, HDR, and more.
It has a 4.5-inch IPS display up front with 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution. The device carries a number of sensors i.e., accelerometer, photosensitive sensor, and proximity sensor. It is based on some of the standard set of connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG, GPS, and microUSB port.
