Vivo has launched its latest Y-series smartphone called the Y30 in India. The smartphone was previously launched in Cambodia as the toned-down variant of the Vivo Y50. The Y50 features a punch-hole display, beefy 5,000mAh battery with fast charging and quad cameras as its USP. Notably, the Y50 was already launched in India last month.
The Vivo Y30 comes with a similar set of specs, but gets a smaller display and less-powerful processor. The phone has been priced under Rs 15,000 in India and has already gone on sale in the country. Here are all details of the Vivo Y30 including the pricing and availability.
Vivo Y30 specifications and features
The Vivo Y30 comes with a 6.47-inch HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole cutout in the front. Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s budget Helio P35 processor accompanied by an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The processor is further coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In the software department, the Vivo Y30 boots the Android 10-based Funtouch OS and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
Coming to the cameras, the Y30 features a quad-camera setup on the back comprising a 13-megapixel primary f/2.2 camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor and 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. The punch-hole cutout in the front houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.
Other features of Vivo Y30 include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Vivo Y30 price in India
The Vivo Y30 is being offered in a single Dazzle Blue colour option. It comes in a single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration in India, and is priced at Rs 14,990. The smartphone is already on sale on Flipkart with offers like 10 percent off with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card, flat Rs 30 discount on the first prepaid transaction via RuPay debit card, Rs 30 off on first prepaid transaction through UPI, and Rs 75 off on RuPay debit card purchase above Rs 7,500.
