Vivo launched the Y50 in Cambodia last month. The smartphone features a punch-hole display, beefy 5,000mAh battery with fast charging and quad cameras as its key features. Now, the phone maker has launched yet another Y-series smartphone in Malaysia called the Vivo Y30.
The Vivo Y30 features a similar set of highlights as the Y50, including the punch-hole display, quad cameras, and massive battery among others. Apart from these, the Y30 has a toned-down spec sheet including a smaller display and less-powerful processor. Here are all the details including specifications, features, pricing and availability of the Vivo Y30.
Vivo Y30 specifications and features
The Vivo Y30 ships with a 6.47-inch display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Ultra O Screen design, which refers to the single punch-hole cutout on the front. The display offers a screen resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels. Driving the performance on the Y30 is MediaTek’s budget Helio P35 processor backed by the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone boots Funtouch OS based on Android 10 out of the box and is powered by a beefy 5,000mAh battery.
Coming to the cameras, the Vivo Y30 features a quad camera setup on the back. The camera module comprises a 13-megapixel primary f/2.2 camera, which is further accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary camera, 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor and 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. The punch-hole cutout on the front houses an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies.
The phone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The connectivity options include dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
