The Vivo Y33s has been launched in India. It is a new mid-range phone from the brand that features a 50-megapixel primary camera as one of its major attractions. It is powered by a gaming optimised processor and a massive battery.

The Y33s has a teardrop notch display, and it houses a big battery that supports fast charging. In addition, it comes with a trendy design. The moniker and specs of the phone suggests that it has arrived as the successor for the Vivo Y31 smartphone that debuted at the beginning of this year in India.

The Vivo Y33s has a 6.58-inch LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a 96 percent NTSC colour gamut. Vivo claims that it offers a 90.6 percent screen space. The display notch houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear camera setup of the phone features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for depth effects and macro shots. The handset offers photography features like super night mode, EIS video stabilisation, eye autofocus, slow-motion video shooting, and Full HD video recording.

The Y33s is powered by the Helio G80 chipset and 8GB of RAM. For a smoother experience, while launching apps, the device comes equipped with 4GB of extended RAM. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo Y33s has 128GB of built-in storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs on FunTouch OS 11.1 based Android 11.
