Vivo Y50 with punch-hole display and 5,000mAh battery launched: price, specifications

Vivo has unveiled a new phone named the Vivo Y50 smartphone in Cambodia. The new phone is now up for pre-orders in the country and its sales slated to begin on April 11th. The handset features a punch-hole display, while the rear panel features a rectangular quad-camera module. It comes with a beefy battery that carries support for rapid charging. It comes in two attractive gradient colour choices.

Vivo Y50 debuts with a 6.53-inch Ultra O display, 13MP quad cameras and 5,000mAh battery

The Vivo Y50 has a large punch-hole display measuring 6.53-inches that offers full HD+ resolution. The phone draws power from the Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM.

The phone offers an internal storage of 128GB. It also comes with support for microSD card for expanding its storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery packed inside the phone, with 18W fast charging support through USB-C.

The configuration of Vivo Y50’s front camera is not known yet. The rear cameras include a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 120-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megpaixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the rear shell of the phone. The bottom edge of the phone has an external speaker and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo Y50 is priced at $249 (~Rs 18,900) in Cambodia. The handset can be availed in two colours like blue and black. There is no word on the whether the phone will made available in India.
