The new variant of Vivo Y51A comes with less RAM, with the rest of the specifications remaining the same as the top-end configuration. The smartphone falls under the sub-Rs 17,000 price segment and competes against the likes of Realme 8 5G (review), POCO M3 Pro 5G (review), Redmi Note 10S (review) and others.
Vivo Y51A specifications and features
The Vivo Y51A features a waterdrop notch display measuring 6.58-inches and bearing an FHD+ resolution. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel houses a rectangular camera setup comprising of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device comes with a 16MP selfie camera.
The Vivo Y51A is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor. The latest offering packs 6GB RAM and 128GB native storage expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11.
Connectivity options on the Vivo Y51A include a USB-C port, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo Y51A 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,990 and offered in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony colours. The smartphone can be purchased from online and mainline channels across the country starting today. HDFC and ICICI Bank customers can avail flat Rs 1,500 cashback on the purchase of Vivo Y51A via credit card, debit card, and EMI transactions.
