The Vivo Y51A mid-tier smartphone has officially launched in India. It is a new CPU variant of the Vivo Y51 that went official in the country in December. The new Vivo Y51 series smartphones are successors to the Vivo Y50 that launched in India back in June 2020.
The Vivo Y51A is is equipped with a 48-megapixel triple camera module and it houses a large battery with fast charging support.
Vivo Y51A specifications and features
The Vivo Y51A sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch screen. The display produces Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The smartphone runs FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11.
The Vivo Y51A is backed by the Snapdragon 662 mobile platform. The SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset come with a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. To keep the lights on, the Vivo Y51A has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The phone features 16-megpaixel selfie camera. At the rear, it has a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front and rear cameras come with support for Super Night mode. For recording stable videos, the Y51A has support for Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). On the connectivity front, the Vivo Y51Acomes with support for dual SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of specifications and design, the Vivo Y51A is identical to the Vivo Y51. The only noticeable difference is that the Y51 is equipped with Snapdragon 662 SoC.
Vivo Y51A price in India
The Vivo Y51A carries a price tag of Rs 17,990 and it comes in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony colours.
The Y51A is now available for buying through multiple platforms such as Vivo India’s online shop, Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata CLiQ, and partnered retail stores.
Buyers of the smartphone can benefit from offers like zero down payment schemes through Bajaj FinServ, Home Credit, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, TVS Credit, and HDB. Users of HDFC Bank credit and debit cards can get up to Rs 1,000 cashback on EMI transactions. On regular credit card transactions, HDFC is offering up to Rs 750 cashback.
