Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker has just launched a new smartphone in Malaysia, calling it Vivo Y53. The phone gets an all-metal unibody design and comes in Crown Gold and Space Grey colors. It is priced at 699 Malaysian Ringgit (Rs 10,495).
Coming on to the specs, the Vivo Y53 sports a 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone also gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB with a MicroSD card. It runs on Android 6 Marshmallow shrouded under Funtouch OS 3.0.
Talking about camera specs, the Vivo Y53 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and LED flash. The phone also gets a 5-megapixel front facing camera for capturing selfies. The default camera app comes with all the standard modes such as Normal, Face Beauty, Panorama, HDR, Night, PPT, Pro, Videos, Camera Filter, Voice Capture, Touch Capture, Palm Capture, and Timer.
Vivo Y53 packs in a 2,500mAh battery and offers dual SIM support along with 4G VoLTE. Apart from VoLTE, the phone comes with all the standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The company is expected to launch the phone soon in other Asian markets including India.
