The Vivo Y53s launch date for India has appeared in a new report by Money Control. It reported that the Y-series mid-ranger will be announced on August 9th in the country. The publication also shared the key specifications and pricing of the smartphone.

In June, Vivo announced the Vivo Y53s 5G in China and it unveiled the Vivo Y53s in Vietnam in July. The new report states that the Y53s heading to India will be somewhat different from the Vietnamese variant. Here is all the information about the upcoming Y-series smartphone for India.

The report claims that the Vivo Y53s will be sporting a triple camera unit led by a 64-megapixel main camera. The device may house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The device may ship with 8GB of RAM with 3GB virtual RAM, and 128GB of storage. While the report says India’s Y53s will be a tweaked version of Y53s that was released in Vietnam, it does not clearly specify the major differences between the two variants.
The Vietnamese Vivo Y53s has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Helio G80 chipset is present under the hood of the device with 8GB of RAM. It has 128GB of built-in storage and runs FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
The Vivo Y53s has a 16MP front camera. Its rear camera setup has a 64-megapixel main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It features usual connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

A recent leak by 91mobiles claimed that the Vivo Y53s will be releasing in India with a price tag of Rs 22,990. It could be available in colours like Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow.
