Vivo launched the Y55L in India, the company’s fresh entrant in the ‘Y Series.’ It is the latest addition after the Vivo Y51L. The phone sports a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor and 2GB RAM.
As far as storage capacity is concerned, the Vivo Y55L features 16GB of internal storage. There is no need to worry about this limited storage since it is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It weighs 149g and measures 147.9 mm X 72.9 mm X 7.5 mm in dimension. The phone packs in a 2650mAh non-removable battery. It is a Dual-SIM device with one micro and one nano SIM slots.
The Vivo Y55L houses an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash. Vivo also offered a 5-megapixel front shooter for all those who love to take selfies. The phone runs Funtouch OS 2.6 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y55l supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and OTG.
The device also comes with a number of sensors such as Accelerometer, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Virtual Gyroscope. Available Gold and Space Grey color options, the Vivo Y55L is priced at Rs 11,980. The phone is available to purchase starting October 5th.
