The Vivo Y72 5G launch date for India may get confirmed soon, suggests a new report by 91mobiles. It is expected to arrive in India as Vivo’s first 5G Y-series smartphone. The publication claims that the smartphone will be announced on July 15th. At the same time, tipster Yogesh has shared a poster to reveal the design of the Y72 5G and its key features. The poster also mentions the bank offers that will be available for buyers.
Vivo announced the Vivo Y72 5G back in March in Thailand. However, the phone that was released Thailand looks different from the one that is expected to arrive in India.
Vivo Y72 5G launch date in India, bank offers
The publication claims that it has learned from a Vivo official that the Vivo Y72 5G will be launching on July 15th. However, it is unclear whether the company will be holding a launch event for it. The leaked poster shared by the tipster shows that the Y72 5G in two color variants such as Dream Glow and Graphite. The back panel of the phone can be seen sporting a squarish camera module housing two cameras and an LED flash.
The rear design of the Y72 5G does not resemble Thailand’s Y72. However, it looks identical to Vivo Y52s and Vivo Y31s 5G phones that went official in China earlier this year. The Y72 5G could be a rebranded version of the Y52s/Y31s for India.
The poster states that the Vivo Y72 5G’s screen will support a Full HD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will offer users 8GB of RAM and 4GB of extended RAM. As far as bank offers are concerned, the Y72 5G buyers will be able to take advantage of offers such as up to Rs 1,500 cashback from HDFC, ICICI, and Kotak Banks, 1-time screen replacement, zero down payment from different finance partners, and benefits worth Rs 10,000 from Jio.
