Vivo has launched the Vivo Y73 as its latest mid-range smartphone with 5G, in China. The handset is also the brand’s first offering to be powered by the Dimensity 720 processor. The Vivo Y73s 5G features an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, triple rear cameras, and fast charging support as its highlights.
The Vivo Y73s has been launched in a single configuration and will go on sale starting October 16th. As of now, the phone is only available in China through pre-orders and there’s no word on the global launch of the handset. Here are the specifications, availability and price of the Vivo Y73s.

The Vivo Y73s 5G sports a 6.44-inch screen bearing an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The display offers a 103 percent NTSC colour gamut and HDR10 support. Design-wise, the smartphone flaunts a gradient back panel with a vertically stacked camera setup in the top left corner.
Coming to the optics, the Vivo Y73s 5G has a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP portrait unit. On the front, the device is fitted with a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone offers night mode, macro mode, 10x digital zoom, EIS, and 4K video recording.
The Vivo Y73s 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. The processor is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Software-wise, the smartphone runs on Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10 layered on the top. The Vivo Y73s 5G draws its power from a 4,100mAh battery unit with support for 18W Dual Flash fast charging.
Connectivity-wise, the Vivo Y73s 5G comes with a USB-C port, dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo Y73s 5G is priced at RMB 1,998 (~Rs 21,211). The handset is offered in Silver Moon and Black Mirror colours. As mentioned before, Vivo has not revealed the global availability of the smartphone.
