Vivo Y91 and Y91i price in India dropped, now available starting from Rs 6,990

Vivo has dropped the price of two of its Y series smartphones in India. The Vivo Y91 and Y91i handsets have received a second price cut in the country after their launch earlier this year. The Vivo Y91 is now available for Rs 8,490 for the variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone was originally launched for Rs 9,990, and its price was recently reduced to Rs 8,990. The Vivo Y91i’s model with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage now costs Rs 6,990, down from the earlier price of Rs 7,490. The two phones are available to buy at the reduced pricing via offline stores across the country.

The Vivo Y91 features a 6.22-inch display with HD+ resolution, and boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. In the camera department, the device has a 13MP main sensor at the rear, which is coupled with a 2MP secondary shooter. For selfies and video-calling, there’s an 8MP lens on the front that’s housed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB, and A-GPS. A 4,030mAh battery powers the Vivo Y91.

As for the Vivo Y91i, the phone offers a 6.22-inch Halo FullView screen bearing an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels. The handset is backed by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor, which is accompanied by an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. For imaging, the device has a single 13MP camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP shooter on the front with f/1.8 aperture. This one is also fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery. Both the handsets are being offered in two colour variants in the country – Starry Black / Fusion Black and Ocean Blue.
