Chinese manufacturer Vivo has quietly launched a new entry-level smartphone in Bangladesh. The device is dubbed as the Vivo Y91C and comes with decent specifications. The Y91C is available at a budget price tag. Let’s find out what the smartphone offers out of the box:
Vivo Y91C specifications and features
On the display front, the Vivo Y91C features a 6.22-inch screen bearing HD+ resolution. It has a waterdrop notch on top and offers an 88.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone flaunts a gradient back panel and can be availed in Fusion Black or Ocean Blue colour options. The Vivo Y91C sports a single 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. A 5MP sensor is fitted on the front for selfies and video calling. Camera features on the device include professional mode, face beauty, slow timelapse, palm capture and voice control. The Vivo Y91C lacks a fingerprint scanner but relies on face unlock feature for secure unlocking.
The Vivo Y91C is powered by an octa-core Helio P22 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For additional storage needs, the device features a dedicated microSD card slot up to 256GB. The smartphone is backed by a 4,030mAh battery unit. It runs the dated Android 8.1 with Funtouch OS 4.5 skinned on top. Connectivity options on the device include dual SIM slots, 4G, 3G, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro-USB port.
Vivo Y91C pricing and availability
The Vivo Y91C is currently available in Bangladesh at a price tag of Tk 9,900 (~Rs 8,300). There is no word whether the smartphone will be available globally.
