Vivo Y91i with 6.2-inch Display and 4,030mAh Battery Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Vivo had announced the Y91 smartphone with a price tag of Rs 10,990 in January. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has unveiled a toned-down version in the form of the Vivo Y91i. The Y91i carries an enticing price tag of Rs 7,990 and it comes with some key features such a waterdrop-notch screen, a dual camera setup and a big battery.


Vivo Y91i Specifications and Features

The Vivo Y91i features a Halo FullView IPS LCD display of 6.2 inches that offers HD+ resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics powers the phone, assisted by 2GB of RAM. For storage, the phone comes with up to 32GB of storage and it is also equipped with a microSD card slot. The smartphone draws power from a 4,030mAh battery.


The rear panel of the Vivo Y91i has a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The selfie notch on the front is fitted with an f/1.8 aperture 8-megapixel camera. The photography features available on the handset include Face Beauty, Timelapse, Full HD video shooting and more. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo flavoured with FunTouch 4.5 UI. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. However, the face unlock is available.


Vivo Y91i Price and Availability

The Vivo Y91i comes in two models – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. These variants are priced at Rs 7,990 and Rs 8,490 respectively. The handset is now available for purchase through offline retailers across the country. It will be also made available for purchase through online retailers soon. The Vivo Y91i can be bought in Fusion Black, Sunset Red and Ocean Blue colors.

The Vivo Y91 comes with dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from these differences, the newly announced Vivo Y91i sports the same specs as Y91. The Vivo Y91 is now selling at a price of Rs 9,990.
