Earlier this year, Vivo launched the Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone in India at a starting price of Rs 14,990. In November, the Chinese tech giant dropped the price of the handset by up to Rs 2,000. Now once again, the company has reduced the price of the Vivo Z1 Pro in the Indian market. The phone’s base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is now available for Rs 12,990 as compared to Rs 13,990 earlier. The model of the handset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is now being offered for Rs 13,990 (Rs 14,990 earlier). The top-end variant of the smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage has not received a price drop and it is still available for Rs 15,990.
Vivo Z1 Pro specifications and features
The Vivo Z1 Pro is a mid-range offering with a triple camera setup at the rear. For security, the handset is equipped with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the back panel. The phone was the first handset in India to offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. It’s worth mentioning that it was also the company’s first device in India with a hole in the screen to house the selfie camera. The handset has a premium design with a vertically-placed main camera module, a fingerprint sensor that’s placed in the middle, and non-existent bezels surrounding the screen.
As for the other specs, the Vivo Z1 Pro features a 6.53-inch screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The phone has Widevine L1 certification, which lets you watch stream content in HD resolution. Software-wise, the phone runs the Android 9 Pie-based Funtouch OS out of the box.
For imaging, the Vivo Z1 Pro has a 16MP main camera at the back, which is aided by an 8MP secondary shooter and a 2MP third sensor. For self-portraits, there’s a 32MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W Dual Engine fast-charging technology keeps phone running.
