Vivo Z1x 8GB RAM variant launched in India for Rs 21,990

Vivo has launched a new 8GB RAM variant of the Vivo Z1x smartphone in India. The handset has been priced at Rs 21,990, and it is available to buy from major brick and mortar stores across the country. As part of the festive offers, the company is offering a cashback of five percent for the purchases made via HDFC and ICICI bank cards, and 10 percent for the HDB bank users. The cashback offer for the Vivo Z1x will be available till October 31st. The smartphone was originally launched in two configurations – 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, which were released for Rs 16,990 and Rs 18,999 respectively.

The Vivo Z1x is a mid-range offering with a premium-looking design featuring a gradient finish at the back, minimal bezels on the sides, a slim bottom bezels, a waterdrop notch above the screen, and a triple camera setup at the rear. The smartphone has a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED IPS display bearing a resolution of full HD+. Under the hood, the Vivo Z1x has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, while the software side of things is handled by Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

In the imaging department, the Vivo Z1x has a 48MP Sony IMX 582 primary camera at the back, which is aided by an 8MP wide-angle shooter. There’s also a 5MP third sensor onboard, which is there for depth sensing. For selfies and video calling, the handset has been equipped with a 32MP camera, which is located inside the waterdrop notch. For security, there’s a fingerprint sensor onboard the smartphone, which is placed on the back panel.

In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Z1x features 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A beefy 4,500mAh battery with a whopping 22.5W fast charging support completes the list of the specifications of the Vivo Z1x. Lastly, the Vivo Z1x is available in the country in two colour variants – Phantom Purple and Fusion Blue.
