Vivo has expanded its range of Z series smartphones in India by launching the Vivo Z1x. The phone has arrived as a mid-range offering with a waterdrop notch above the screen, an in-display fingerprint sensor, impressive fast charging capabilities, and a triple primary camera setup at the rear. The Vivo Z1X was released in the country soon after the brand launched the Vivo Z1 Pro, which shares a few features with the new offering.
Vivo Z1x specifications
Starting with the design first, the Vivo Z1x is a premium-looking offering with a gradient finish at the rear. The phone has minimal bezels on the sides, a slim chin, and a waterdrop notch above the screen. The fingerprint sensor of the smartphone is placed under the display. The triple camera system of the handset is placed vertically.
On the front, the Vivo Z1x sports a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED IPS display with Full HD+ screen resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone packs in an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. Configuration-wise, the handset comes in two RAM and storage variants – 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Software-wise, the device boots Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
In the camera department, the Vivo Z1x sports a 48MP Sony IMX 582 primary sensor at the rear. The main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP shooter to sense depth, and an LED flash unit. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone has a 32MP shooter that’s placed inside the waterdrop notch. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and A-GPS. Lastly, a beefy 4,500mAh battery with a massive 22.5W fast charging capability completes the list of the specs of the phone.
Vivo Z1x price in India
The Vivo Z1x has been priced at Rs 16,990 for the 64GB variant and Rs 18,990 for the 128GB model. The phone will be available exclusively via the e-tailer Flipkart in two colour variants – Phantom Purple and Fusion Blue. The smartphone will go on sale in the country from September 13th.
