Vodafone Idea has announced two new prepaid plans in India with denominations of Rs 169 and Rs 109. Both plans will also be available for users on the Idea network. The telecom operator has launched these new plans in all telecom circles in India where it’s present.
Notably, the Rs 169 prepaid plan is the most affordable plan from the telco to offer daily data benefits. Similarly, the Rs 109 prepaid plan happens to be the most affordable unlimited pack from the telco. Both these packs come with 20 days validity but different data benefits. Let’s take a look at what these plans offer.
Vodafone Rs 169 and Rs 109 prepaid plans launched
Starting with the Rs 109 prepaid plan, it comes with unlimited voice calling benefits. This means users will be able to make free calls to any network within the country. Additionally, there’s no FUP limit on the voice calls with this plan. Apart from this, the plan provides a total of 1GB data and 300 SMS for the duration of the validity. The plan comes with a validity of 20 days and offers no other benefits.
As for the Vodafone Rs 169 prepaid plan, it also comes with a validity of 20 days. Those recharging with this plan will be entitled to 1GB high-speed data per day, totalling to 20GB. Apart from this, the plan also offers 100 SMS per day to the user. Other benefits including the unlimited voice calling to any network remains the same.
As of now, it’s not known whether the new plans offer complimentary access to Vodafone Play and ZEE5 OTT apps like other plans including Rs 129 and Rs 149 prepaid packs. Speaking of which, the Rs 129 plan offers 24 days validity, 2GB of data, unlimited voice calling and 300 SMSes. The Rs 149 plan on the other hand comes with the same benefits as the Rs 129 but 28 days validity.
