Vodafone Idea recently removed the double data benefits from its Rs 399 and Rs 599 prepaid plans. However, the telco has now doubled the data benefits on its popular Rs 98 pack. This move from the company comes shortly after Airtel revised its Rs 98 prepaid pack and doubled the data benefits.

Notably, the Rs 98 pack from Vodafone Idea is the most expensive data pack from the telco. The other two packs in the same category come in denominations of Rs 16 and Rs 48. While the Rs 16 data pack offers 1GB of data for 24 hours, the Rs 48 data pack gives you 3GB for 28 days.
Vodafone Rs 98 pack now offers 12GB data
The Vodafone Idea Rs 98 prepaid plan’s double data benefits are now reflecting on the websites of both Vodafone and Idea. The plan previously offered users 6GB of data, and now offers 12GB. The website doesn’t mention if the double data offer is a limited period offer or permanent. The validity of the plan remains the same at 28 days. Notably, this is a data add on pack and doesn’t offer and calling or SMS benefits.
The double data benefits on the Rs 98 plan are available only in few circles in the country, with other circles continuing to offer 6GB. The cirles where the double data offer is available at present include Delhi, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and UP East.
Vodafone prepaid plans with double data
Apart from the Rs 98 plan, Vodafone is also offering double data with its Rs 299, Rs 449 and Rs 699 prepaid plans. These plans offer a validity of 28 days, 56 days and 84 days, respectively. All three packs offer 4GB data per day along with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. They also come with a complimentary Vodafone Play and ZEE5 subscription.
