Vu Premium Android 4K TV Range With HDR 10 and Dolby Vision launched: price, specifications

Indian TV manufacturer Vu has unveiled four new Android-based 4K TV’s in the country. The premium TV range has been launched in 43, 50, 55 and 65-inch screen sizes. The lineup starts at Rs 43,000 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1,10,000 for the highest variant.

Technical Specs:

Vu’s latest TV range comes with support for 4K and HDR 10 content. The TVs are also equipped with Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio technologies. The TVs feature a Titanium Grey frame and an OD22 slim design which minimises visual distraction, according to the brand.

To generate a high-quality visual experience in 4K, the TVs utilise 4x upscaling, MPEG noise reduction, gamma reduction, adaptive contrast and smooth motion ratio. The Vu Android 4K TV range runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Users get full access to the Google ecosystem which includes the Play Store, Google Games, Google Movies, etc. The TVs also come with pre-loaded certified apps like Hotstar, SonyLIV, Eros Now, Zee5 and Hungama. Along with the TV, Vu has bundled an ActiVoice remote for accessing smart devices and digital content. Users can use the built-in microphone to give voice commands.

Pricing & Availability:

The base 40-inch variant is priced at Rs 43,000. The 50 and 55-inch model carry a price tag of Rs 51,000 and Rs 59,000 respectively. The 65-inch model is the most expensive of the lot retailing at Rs 1,10,000. The Premium Android 4K TVs are available both offline and online. All the variants are now on sale on Flipkart.

It’s worth noting that the price on Flipkart is less than the actual price. We could be looking at a first-time launch offer that may be available only for a limited period.
