In order to send a WhatsApp message without saving a contact number, you will have to use a clickable link. This link can be pasted in a browser address bar to open the chat without having to save the phone number below are the steps to send a WhatsApp message without saving the contact number.

  1. Open a web browser on your smartphone
  2. In the address bar, type https://wa.me/91XXXXXXXXXX
  3. Here the 91 will remain as it is but replace the Xs with the intended contact number
  4. Click on enter
  5. You will then be redirected to the WhatsApp chat window with the intended contact

How to send preset WhatsApp messages without saving the contact?

You can use the same method as above to send a message directly to the contact. The message will appear in the chat window without having to type anything in WhatsApp. Follow the steps below.

  1. Open a web browser on your smartphone
  2. In the address bar, type https://wa.me/whatsappphonenumber?text=urlencodedtext
  3. Replace whatsappphonenumber with the 10-digit phone number along with the 91 prefix (example 919999900000)
  4. Replace urlencodedtext with the message you want to send like Hello
  5. Click enter and you will be redirected to WhatsApp with the intended message sent

You can also simply send a text using WhatsApp links to multiple contacts. Here are the steps to do so.

  1. Open a web browser on your smartphone
  2. In the address bar, type https://wa.me/?text=Hi%20how%20aret%20you
  3. You’ll be taken to a new page showing the message “Hi how are you”
  4. Tap on open this message in WhatsApp
  5. You’ll now be directed to your contact list on WhatsApp
  6. Select contacts you want to send the messages to and click on send icon
