Xbox Games With Gold for January 2022: List of Free Games

Xbox Free Games With Gold

While Sony is pushing some graphic-intensive games for its PlayStation Plus subscribers, Microsoft is promoting the indie genre. These four games will debut on Xbox starting January 1st and will be available until February 15th, 2022, for free.

NeuroVoider (January 1st to January 31st, 2022)

NeuroVoider is the only new game on the list. The modern-day RPG style game features a twin-stick shooter experience in a futuristic world. Modern-day top-down shooter games heavily inspire its gameplay, and nuclear rocket launchers add more action to the game.

Aground (January 16th to February 15th, 2022)

Aground is the second indie title on the list. The game features the classic pixel art style from the 1970s. Players who adore this art style should definitely check out this game at least once. As for the gameplay, players have to beat the end boss while making their way up, defeating minions.

Radiant Silvergun (January 1st to January 15th, 2022)

Radiant Silvergun

Radiant Silvergun is a shoot ’em up style game that allows you to go back in time and relive your gaming memories of the 90s. The art style brings nostalgia to the players, and the constant urge to win against enemies will surely bring out the inner gamer in you. The gameplay is also fast-paced, so you have to be on your toes in every match. Each match follows the vertical-scroll style gameplay, and players have to play as spaceships defeating the alien bosses of the universe.

Space Invaders Infinity Gene (January 16th to January 31st, 2022)

Space Invaders Infinity Gene

Available during the second half of January 2022 is one of the classics of the previous decade. Space Invaders Infinity Gene is being added to the Xbox Free Games With Gold list and will be available from January 16th to January 31st, 2022. Being an alteration of shoot ’em ups, Space Invaders Infinity Gene follows an unrecognizable format featuring a mix of perspective, symmetry and shooting.

So this ends our list for the Xbox Free Games With Gold January for 2022. Which indie game you’re going to play? Let us know in the comment box below.
