Exclusive: Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro and 11 Lite NE 5G new renders surface ahead of global launch

Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro , and 11 Lite NE 5G new renders have been obtained by Pricebaba via tipster Ishan Agarwal ahead of the global launch on September 15th. It’s worth noting that renders of these devices have been leaked previously as well, and these just showcase the design from new angles. Additionally, Agarwal has also confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 5 will go official at the same event, and revealed the price for European markets as well.

The new renders confirm that the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will offer the same colour options as the Mi 11 Lite 4G with an additional white colour variant. The Xiaomi Pad 5 will be offered in white and black colour options globally.

As you can see in the renders above, the Xiaomi 11T duo will come in white, blue, and grey colours. These are the same colours that were earlier spotted in a UK listing and leaked renders by 91mobiles. According to the UK listing, the colour options are called Meteorite Gray, Celestial Blue, and Moonlight White.

From this angle, we can also see the side profile of the smartphone revealing the volume button and the recessed power button likely with an embedded fingerprint scanner. Recently, Xiaomi confirmed that the 11T series will receive three generations of Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is rumoured to come with an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 1200 SoC, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone is expected to feature 108-megapixel triple rear cameras and a beefy battery with 120W fast charging. The standard 11T will share the same specs but will feature a 64-megapixel primary shooter instead of a 108-megapixel unit.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is seen sporting Vinyl Black, Tuscany Coral, and Jazz Blue paint job just like the Mi 11 Lite 5G along with a textured white variant. Notably, the new white colourway was earlier reported by 91mobiles as well. A recent leak revealed that the NE in the name stands for New Edition and the smartphone will be featuring a new Snapdragon 778 SoC unlike Snapdragon 780G on the regular Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G. The rest of the specifications are rumoured to be the same.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, 64-megapixel triple rear cameras, 20-megapixel selfie camera, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. Other features include MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, 4,250mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Pad 5 price in Europe confirmed ahead of launch

Agarwal has also confirmed that the brand will launch its Xiaomi Pad 5 in global markets in a single variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at €399 (~Rs 34,700). This pricing was also accidentally revealed on a European retailer website earlier. Xiaomi has already launched the tablet in China along with the Pro variant last month. As such we already know all specifications of the upcoming tablet.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 features a 11-inch LCD display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution,  500 nits brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. There’s a Snapdragon 860 SoC driving the performance and powering the tablet is an 8,720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In the camera department, the tablet comes with a single 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
