Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge have received Android 12 OS upgrade in India. To recall, both devices were announced in January this year. The 11i duo had come pre-installed with Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top. Six months after the launch, Xiaomi has now rolled out the latest Android version for both devices.

The 11i and 11i HyperCharge are packed with almost identical specs. The vanilla model has a larger battery with 67W fast charging support, whereas the HyperCharge edition packs in a smaller battery. For those who are unaware, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is the company’s first smartphone in India to carry support for 120W fast charging.

The OS update is being released in a phased manner to Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge users in India. Hence, it may take a few more days for the update to show up on the device.

The Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass protection. Both devices have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The 11i duo is powered by the Dimensity 920 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. The 11i packs a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging. On the other hand, the 11i HyperCharge has a 4,500mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge rapid charging. For security, both devices have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Xiaomi 11i comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. These models are priced at Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999, respectively. The 11i HyperCharge also comes in the same variants. Its base model is priced at Rs 26,999, while the higher model costs Rs 28,999. Both phones come in Camo Green, Pacific Pearl (blue), Purple Mist, and Stealth Black.
