Xiaomi 12 Pro has been spotted on China’s 3C and TENAA certification websites with model number 2201122C. The listing hints at the imminent launch of Xiaomi’s next flagship device. The Xiaomi 12 series is expected to debut in China on December 28th, 2021.
The Xiaomi 12 lineup will reportedly consist of as many as six models including a standard, Pro, Ultra, Lite, Lite Zoom, and lastly a Xiaomi 12X. The upcoming Xiaomi 12 is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. It may not be the first to launch with Qualcomm’s new flagship processor but could be the one causing the most impact.
Xiaomi 12 Pro passes 3C and TENAA website
As per the 3C certification, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will arrive as a 5G phone. It will support a whopping 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will come with dual-SIM dual standby support. Apart from this, the certification websites don’t reveal any additional information.
As per the rumour mill, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is tipped to come with a punch-hole AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to feature a 50MP primary camera. The upcoming offering will reportedly be powered by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 120W charging. The device will likely ship with Android 12 based MIUI 12 skinned on the top.
