Xiaomi 12 Ultra launch date has been tipped. Recent reports have claimed that the much-awaited flagship will be launched in July. A report has tipped the date on which it will be unveiled.

While Xiaomi has not confirmed it, several sources have claimed that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It will offer other features such as a 120Hz AMOLED display and 50-megapixel triple rear cameras. The  Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (review) was made available in India as a limited-edition device. At present, there is no word on the Indian launch of the device.

According to TechGoing, Xiaomi will announce the 12 Ultra on July 5th, 2022. On the same day, ASUS will also unveil the ROG Phone 6 series of gaming smartphones. The publication has also stated that the official teasers for the 12 Ultra will be released on June 28th, 2022.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra rumours have revealed that it will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO panel with curved edges. The punch-hole display will offer a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to feature Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the display.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform. The flagship phone will arrive with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage in China. It will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with MIUI 13.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra featured a secondary display. However, it will not be present in the successor model. The device will be equipped with a Leica-engineered camera system, which will comprise a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 48-megapixel telephoto snapper, a ToF (Time of Flight) lens, a laser autofocus unit, and a dual-LED flash.

For selfies, it will be equipped with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. It will offer other features such as dual stereo speakers, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and a ceramic / leather build.
