Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced specifications have been leaked. The information comes from the publication Xiaomiui who spotted both the devices in the Mi Code.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced edition are codenamed Loki and Thor. Both devices are said to be built on the same ROM and source. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will debut as the successor to this year’s Mi 11 Ultra (review). Read on to know what the report reveals about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagships.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will debut as the successor to Mi 11 Ultra

As per the report, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra codenamed Loki has model number L1A while its Enhanced edition codenamed Thor carries a model number L1. The latter is also reported to debut with under-display camera technology. 

As for the key specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Ultra Enhanced edition are tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Snapdragon 898 processor aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Both smartphones are expected to sport a quad-rear camera setup consisting a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor. It could be paired with three 48MP lenses with support for 2x, 5x, and 10x zoom respectively. Both smartphones will also reportedly offer up to 120x zoom and 15x video zoom. 

A separate report by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that Xiaomi could partner with iconic camera maker Leica for its upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra series. 

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra series is speculated to be exclusive to the Chinese market and may debut in Q2 2022 just like the Mi 11 Ultra.
