Now, Roland Quandt of WinFuture has provided comprehensive pictures of the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro in a new colour option called Lunar Silver ahead of the launch event. This colour option was not seen in the previous generation, which comprised of Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12S.

The companies are coming up with new colour options to entice users and be relevant. However, this silver looks a little jazzy for our taste. However, we will have to see it in person if the company has managed to maintain a classy tone or if it looks tacky like some of the recent silver-coloured smartphones.

The renders of Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro were leaked by the same tipster a week prior as well. From these renders and the one leaked earlier, we can deduce that Xiaomi 12T series looks identical to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. There is a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout display and a rectangular camera module on the back panel. The sensor arrangement on the upcoming offerings is also similar to the 12 Pro with one large size lens on the top and two small lenses below it. The renders also reveal a flat display compared to a curved screen on the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will be different from each other in terms of camera and processor. Upon closer inspection, the leaked images reveal that the former will have a 108MP sensor whereas the latter will feature a 200MP primary lens.

The smartphones will reportedly pack up to12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The smartphones will run on the Android 12 OS with the MIUI 13 custom skin on top.
