- It will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi CIVI 2
Xiaomi 13 Lite could be in the works for the global market. The image and specifications of the phone have now surfaced through its Google Play Console listing. This indicates that it may not take too long for the device to go official.
In September 2022, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi CIVI 2, a female-focused smartphone in the Chinese market. Previous reports have claimed that the CIVI 2 will be rebranded as the Xiaomi 13 Lite in the global market. Continue reading to find out all the information that has surfaced through the Play Console listing of the Xiaomi 13 Lite.
Xiaomi 13 Lite key specifications
As per the Google Play Console listing, the Xiaomi 13 Lite’s display will offer a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will offer a pixel density of 400 ppi. According to the listing image, the phone has a curved-edge OLED panel with a centre punch-hole. The device seems to be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
It appears that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will arrive with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The listing does not mention the name of the chip explicitly. However, the SM87450 model code of the chip as well as the Adreno 740 mentioned in the listing, are a good hint that it will feature the SD7G1 chip.
The SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM, and the device runs on Android 12 OS. The rear image of the phone shows that it has a triple rear camera system with an LED flash. The listing does not say anything about the camera specs, storage, or battery capacity of the phone.
In all likelihood, it may inherit other specs from the Xiaomi CIVI 2. Unlike the Xiaomi 2, which has a dual camera setup with dual LED flash, the Xiaomi 13 Lite may only have a single camera on the front.
Hence, it appears that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It could have a triple camera unit with 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro). It may house a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. At present, it is unclear whether the device will be released in India.
