Rumours surrounding the 13 Ultra have been heating up, with several sources already leaking key information about the device. In a new tweet, tipster Yogesh Brar has shared its possible specifications.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the camera-focused smartphone in its series, which already includes the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro flagship phones. As it is known, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra met with a limited release in the global market, whereas the Xiaomi 12S Ultra remained confined to the Chinese market. Xiaomi 12S Ultra has 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera
As per the leak, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will arrive with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Like the predecessor model, it could be equipped with a centrally positioned punch-hole and curved edges. It is expected to come with Android 13 and the company’s own MIUI 14 user interface. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Additionally, the device is said to be offered with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, along with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra could come with an impressive array of sensors on the back. According to the tipster, the device may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel zoom camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
As per other reports, it will have the 1-inch Sony IMX989 as the main camera, whereas the other three will be IMX858 lenses. On the front, the device may come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, the device may feature Leica’s colour optimisations, which could offer more accurate colour reproduction and better image quality overall.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also expected to come with the latest version of Android, Android 13, along with the company’s own MIUI 14 user interface. Finally, the 13 Ultra is rumoured to come with a 4,900mAh battery, along with fast charging capabilities. Specifically, the device may come with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, which could help users stay powered up throughout the day.
