Xiaomi Book S 12.4 has been launched in Europe. The company has been launching laptops in different markets since 2016. However, the Book S 12.4 that has gone official today is Xiaomi’s first 2-in-1 laptop. It is a portable device with a thin and light construction.

Xiaomi is also offering optional accessories such as the Xiaomi Smart Pen and a keyboard for buyers of the Xiaomi Book S 12.4. Since it is a tablet-laptop hybrid device, it is equipped with a touchscreen display. It is powered by a Snapdragon processor and promises 13+ hours of battery life. The device runs on the Windows 11 OS and carries support for 65W fast charging.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 sports a 12.4-inch LCD touchscreen. It offers a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nights of brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. It comes equipped with Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display.
The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor is present under the hood of the Xiaomi Book S 12.4. It is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 38.08Wh battery, which can be charged using the bundled 65W GaN charger.
The metallic rear of the Book S 12.4 has a 13-megapixel camera. Its front side features a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. The device comes preloaded with an ARM-based version of the Windows 11 OS. It comes with other features such as dual stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Xiaomi Book S 12.4 price and availability
The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 is priced at €699 (~Rs 57,600) in Europe. It will be available for purchase starting from today (June 21st, 2022). Customers who wish to purchase it with the optional keyboard cover can get it for €799 (~Rs 67,900). Customers who order the Book S 12.4 between June 21st and June 30th will receive a free pair of Redmi Buds 3 Pro TWS earbuds. It is unclear whether Xiaomi has any plans to release it in India.
