As per Sharma, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will support 67W fast charging. The device’s TENAA listing confirms both the internal specifications. Sharma also adds that the Xiaomi phone will feature an aggressive camera setup, unfortunately, it remains to be seen how the Chinese brand aims to improve the cameras. We can expect flagship-grade camera performance on the device.

The upcoming Xiaomi phone is confirmed to launch in the global market and is also expected to arrive in India although the launch timeline remains unclear at the moment.

Apart from this, popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station stated that the smartphone with model number 2112123AC will be released in China whereas the 2112123C will be launched outside China as a Redmi-branded device.

As for the compact form factor, Xiaomi showed interest in launching a small-sized phone after the release of the iPhone 12 Mini last year. However, ASUS beat the Chinese brand by bringing the Zenfone 8.
