Xiaomi Mi 10 Standard Edition to be Powered by a 4800mAh Battery

During the Qualcomm Summit, Xiaomi announced that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro smartphone would be powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865G chipset. So far, we have not received much intel about the Mi 10 series of smartphones, but now, courtesy of a new leak, we might have a working clue as to what the battery capacity of the standard Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone could be. As per the latest leak, the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone could utilize a 4,800mAh cell.

The leak has come up courtesy of a Chinese leakster who goes by the name Digital Chat Station. As per the leakster, the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone’s battery could range somewhere around 4,500mAh to 4,800mAh. The source itself has mentioned that the leaked battery capacity may differ from the actual battery by ± 100mAh, so we might as well take the leak with a pinch of salt as of now. Nevertheless, we now have an idea about the battery of the device which, by the way, might come with a 66W wired fast charging support, if the previous leak is to be believed.

As far as the launch date of the device is concerned, the company has not given us an actual date so far, but it has already dropped hints that the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone will be launched sometime during Q1, 2020, so we can expect to hear more about the device in the times to come. Speaking of the specifications known so far, the Xiaomi Mi 10, just like the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, will be powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset which can provide up to 7.5 Gbps of peak speed. Moreover, a high refresh rate display on the Xiaomi Mi 10 series can easily be expected, given that the recently launched Redmi K30 smartphone also features a 120Hz refresh rate.
