Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro specifications and price leaked

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Mi 10. Like its predecessor (Mi 9), the Mi 10 will arrive in standard and Pro editions. Ahead of the launch, details about the smartphone have been doing the rounds on the internet. Now alleged specifications of the Mi 10 have leaked on Chinese blog Digital Chat Station. Xiaomi hasn’t announced the exact date of the Mi 10 launch event yet. However, since the Mi 9 was launched in February this year, we expect the Mi 10 to debut in the first quarter of 2020. The flagship offering is also expected to arrive in India by January-end. 

Mi 10 specifications and price

According to the source, the standard Mi 10 features a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The leak doesn’t reveal the smartphone’s design. The spec sheet mentions a quad-camera setup on the rear comprising of a primary Sony IMX686 sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto camera and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone is rumoured to offer 30x digital zoom.

Xiaomi’s co-founder Lin Bin confirmed that the Mi 10 will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor. As per the spec sheet, the smartphone will be available in three configurations of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The device is expected to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The Mi 10 will offer 5G and NFC connectivity. 

The price of Mi 10 has been blurred out in the spec sheet. However, the first digit is ‘3’ for all the variants suggesting that the top model will be priced under RMB 3,999 (~Rs 40,800) 

Mi 10 Pro specifications and price

The spec sheet doesn’t reveal much info of the Mi 10 Pro. It’s unknown whether the device will retain the display and design of the standard variant. The smartphone will be equipped with quad-cameras comprising of a 108MP + 48MP + 12MP + 8MP sensors. The function of each sensor is not known yet. 

Like the standard variant, the Pro model will also house a Snapdragon 865 processor. It will pack 12GB RAM coupled with three storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The spec sheet mentions the battery capacity of 4,500mAh with support for 66W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. 

The Mi 10 Pro will be priced at RMB 3,799 (~Rs 38,800) for the base variant. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB options are expected to carry a price tag of RMB  4,099 (~Rs 41,850) and RMB 4,499 (~Rs 45,900) respectively.
