Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones soon in China. A recent leak had claimed that the company will be unveiling the Mi 10 series in early February. A leaked poster that has surfaced on Weibo states that the Mi 10 series will be announced in China on February 11th. On the same date, Samsung will be holding a global launch for its upcoming Galaxy S20 series. At present, there is no official confirmation yet from Xiaomi on the launch date of the Mi 10 series. Meanwhile, the rumour mill has been actively churning out details on the upcoming Xiaomi flagships. Today, a fresh set of live images of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G smartphone appeared on Weibo along with some of its key specs.
The real-life images of the Mi 10 Pro 5G confirms that it will be flaunting a curved screen with a punch-hole at its top-left corner. The device could feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The left edge of the phone is not shown in the images. Its right side is fitted with a volume rocker and power button.
The top edge of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G seems to be equipped with a pair of microphones and it also features an external speaker. The bottom side of the device has a SIM tray slot, a USB-C port, microphone and another external speaker. The presence of a second speaker reveals that the Mi 10 Pro 5G will offer an enhanced audio experience. The handset lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The watermark present on the leaked images show that the Mi 10 Pro 5G is equipped with a 108-megapixel quad camera system. The image of the glass back of the device shows a triple camera setup followed by a fourth camera and an LED flash. The 108MP text is imprinted between the first and second lenses.
The label on the rear side of the smartphone has the M2001J1C model number which was previously spotted on the database of China’s 3C regulatory body. The 3C listing of the phone had revealed that it will be arriving with a 66W rapid charger. However, the leaked images show that the Mi 10 Pro will be equipped with a 65W fast charger.

Rumours are rife that the Mi 10 Pro 5G will be treating its users to a 120Hz AMOLED display. Apart from the 108-megapixel primary lens, the quad camera setup of the phone may include a ultra-wide 20-megapixel lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be powering the Mi 10 Pro 5G. It could be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery. The handset is also speculated to arrive with fast wireless charging technology and reverse charging support.
The tipster who shared the leaked images of the Mi 10 Pro 5G on Weibo claims that Xiaomi will start with the sales of the Mi 10 series on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). Also, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro could be priced between RMB 3,500 (~Rs 36,300) and RMB 5,000 (~Rs 51,900) in China.
