The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagship phones are rumoured to go official in early February. The Xiaomi Mi 10 series will be debuting as the first phones from Xiaomi to arrive with support for the SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) dual-mode 5G networks of China. The Mi 10 Pro had surfaced in leaked shots in the previous week. The leaked images had revealed that it will be sporting a punch-hole display and a quad camera setup on its rear. Now, a screenshot of the pre-production unit of the Mi 10 Pro has been spotted on China’s Weibo microblogging platform. The image has revealed the key specifications of the smartphone.
The screenshot reveals that the handset could be dubbed as the Mi 10 Pro 5G in China. The phone is equipped with a 6.4-inch display that supports full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,080 pixels. The vacant spot at the top-left corner of the screenshot is more proof that Mi 10 Pro 5G will be coming with a punch-hole screen. It will most likely sport an AMOLED screen like the predecessor Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G phone. It could be a curved screen embedded with a fingerprint reader.
The screenshot further reveals that the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be present under the hood of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G. It may debut as the world’s first smartphone powered by 16GB of RAM. The upcoming Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is also expected to arrive in a 16GB RAM variant. The Mi 10 Pro 5G is backed by a 5,250mAh battery. It could be the same battery that is present inside the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 that was announced at the end of last year.
The quad camera setup of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G features a main 108-megapixel camera, along with 16MP, 12MP and 5MP cameras. The phone will be arriving with a massive internal storage of 512GB. The device can be seen running on MIUI 18.104.22.168. The handset is most likely to arrive with Android 10. Other details of the phone are currently under wraps. Some leaks have revealed that the Mi 10 Pro 5G will be equipped with 65W or 66W fast charging technology. Some leaks have claimed that it will carry support for fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
Recent reports have claimed that Xiaomi may hold an online-only launch event for the Mi 10 series because of the Coronavirus outbreak issue in China. It is expected to hit the Chinese market on February 14th. Rumours suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 10 5G and Mi 10 Pro 5G phones could be priced between RMB 3,500 (~Rs 36,000) and RMB 5,000 (~Rs 51,500).
