Xiaomi has been teasing its latest Mi series smartphones called the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro for a while now. Today, at an event in its home market of China, the company has finally unveiled everything about the newest Mi series devices. As announced by the brand earlier, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset called the Snapdragon 865. Both the devices flaunt an AMOLED screen panel that’s curved on the sides. Also, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro offer a high screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Notably, the new Mi series handsets also flaunt a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, which is capable of reducing the input lag while scrolling and gaming.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED full HD+ display bearing a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is powered by the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm, which is called the Snapdragon 865. The device offers up to 12GB of LDDR5 RAM, which makes it amongst the first in the world to utilise the new RAM technology. The handset comes in three RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. Software-wise, the handset boots Android 10-based MIUI 11 on top. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and water resistance with P2i certification.
In the camera department, the Xiaomi Mi 10 has a 108MP main camera on the back with an aperture of f/1.7. The main sensor is accompanied by a 13MP f/2.2 super wide-angle lens, a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device has a 20MP camera that’s hidden inside the notch in the top-left corner of the screen. A 4,780mAh battery with 30 watts fast charging support keeps it running.
Talking about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, the phone comes with a slightly different set of rear camera specs as the Mi 10. There’s a 108MP camera onboard as a primary shooter, which is aided by a 20MP wide-angle snapper, a 12MP camera, and an 8MP sensor. This one has the same display, selfie camera, other specs as the Mi 10.
Moving to the pricing, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will be available from the starting price of RMB 3,999 (~Rs 41,000). The Mi 10 Pro is being offered for the starting price tag of RMB 4,999 (~Rs 51,150).
